Mr. Darcy and Romeo

I love Mr. Darcy as much as I love Romeo.

These two characters are of two opposing characters but both capable of sweeping a girl of her feet in their own ways.

Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy-is a fictional character and one of two protagonists in Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. He is an archetype of the aloof romantic hero, and a romantic interest of Elizabeth Bennet, the novel's main protagonist. The story's narration is almost exclusively from Elizabeth's perspective; she is portrayed as the sympathetic figure, and Darcy hardly so at all until the latter chapters of the novel —as knowledge and ironic events are revealed to Elizabeth. Usually referred to only as "Mr. Darcy", his first name is mentioned twice in the novel. The novel gives his age as twenty-eight.

Romeo Montague-is one of the fictional protagonists in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. He is the heir of the Montague family of Verona, and falls in love and dies with Juliet Capulet, the daughter of the Capulet house.

-As the wiki says.

But for me, Mr. Darcy is a the bad boy I've always known. the airy, spiteful and arrogant being. But no matter how much I hate him, I love him as much. Romeo, on the other hand, is my prince. the kind, sweet and loving one. He makes me love him in spite of the risk I am about to take.

My life is sort of messed up right now and left me confused. I cannot have everything no matter how spoiled I am, I can only have enough.

The ending of the two fictions doesn't help much either. Mr. Darcy's ending will make everyone happy. Happy but struggling(read the sequel: Mr. Darcy Presents His Bride). Romeo's ending is devastating. "Thus with a kiss I die".

I just don't know. I maybe too fearful of the possibilities of hurting myself. I don't want to fall..I am too afraid to let go.
