So this is how the Holidays work then?
I am a Grinch to tell you people the truth. I am repulsive and irritable when my family pesters me about the Holidays.
Misa de Gallo slashes two hours of sleep for me. And yeaaa, NEVER START ANYTHING YOU DO NOT INTEND TO FINISH!
Noche Buena AND its preparation is an ordeal. From groceries to the gifts, it gets freakishly annoying.
The family reunions. Well, I didn't quite realized how big our clans were since I spent half of my life's holidays away from Dumaguete.
New Year's Eve. Along with that is my mother's birthday. One heck of preparation, I tell you.
BUT I was also the Grinch who stole Christmas.
I actually enjoyed going to Church and eating puto't tsokolate.
For the first time in years, I gave out gifts for Christmas.
I appreciated my relatives rowdiness because I realized that insanity is genetics.
And it's New Year's Eve. But I'm happy. Ecstatic actually.
There are things meant to be appreciated and a whole lot to change.
People are probably awaiting for that so-called New Year's Resolution. I'm not making a single one because I will be living by my Ultimatum.
Do or Die. Either ways, I know I'll end up happy.
